Headlines

Dierks Bentley and wife Cassidy give birth to their first daughter Evalyn Day Bentley.

Investors.com digs into Randy Traywick’s (Randy Travis) backgorund. They state that he was drinking by the age of 12, and soon later had moved onto drugs and other illegal activities.  

Gretchen Wilson’s cd release has been pushed back to early 2009.

Argusleader.com interviews Merle Haggard.  Hag stats that one thing that keeps him touring is his 16 year old son.

Todd Snider is giving away his newest cd.

Stonewall Jackson and The Grand ole Opry finally settle their lawsuit.  Jackson filled a suit against the Opry last year for age discrimination.

CMT Giants will honor Alan Jackson which will air Dec. 6.
