Hank Williams Jr has a new number 1 fan in Sara Palin

CMT.com has reported that Sara Palin has tracked down Bocephus’s and asked for his support, but got a little more out of the deal.  It seems Bocephus and Palin have planned to hang out and go moose hunting.

It took a week for her to track him down, but vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin finally spoke with Hank Williams Jr. on a cell phone. Right off the bat, Sarah told Hank that she had all his albums. “Huge fan,” she said. She also told him that she’d appreciate any help he could give her and Sen. John McCain.

“I hunt moose,” said Sarah.

“I hunt moose, too,” he replied. “I have a house in Montana.”

The vice presidential candidate and the country star agreed to hang out and do some moose hunting together. In the meantime, Hank will be performing Monday (Oct. 13) in Virginia Beach, Va., to open a rally featuring McCain and Palin.
