Waylon Jennings’ Album Finally Complete

Shooter Jennings finally completed work on his late fathers album titled Waylon Forever.  It will be a collaboration between Waylon and Shooter with Shooter’s band the .357’s  The project was started way back in 1995, and was only finished recently when Shooter went back to the studio to record tracks for Waylon’s vocals.  The first single will be Waylon’s hit “Lonesome, On’ry and Mean”.  You can get a sneak peak of the single at CMT.com.   The album is set for release on 10.21.08.

Being a Waylon Jennings fan for many years I can’t wait to hear the album.  “Lonesome, On’ry and Mean” is really well done, and I am sure the rest of the album will be also.  A website has been set up for the release of the album.  Although the site is not active yet I expect it to be just before the release date or on the release date.

Here is the track list for Waylon Forever:
“Jack of Diamonds”
“Outlaw Sh*t”
“Ain’t Livin’ Long Like This”
“Are You Ready for the Country?”
“Lonesome, On’ry and Mean”
“Waymore’s Blues”
“White Room”
“I Found the Body”
